Weddings
are high-times of many people's lives. They are fun and often
exciting, and, more often than not are much more as well.
They
can be reunions, too. At weddings, people often meet
relatives they haven't seen for years and these are normally
very emotional moments. There is always too much to discuss.
People just love catching up. And, of course, there are
always the soon-to-be broken promises of
keeping-in-touch!
But,
what happens to the new man and wife? They become a statistic! And,
their marriage has only a 50% chance of survival. The odds
are high they will be remarrying soon - to somebody new, of course!
But,
statistics are only statistics, and they are seldom correct. They
only say what others want us
to hear and believe.
Not everyone gets married. Many people simply live happily
together without tying the knot. The reality of a solid
relationship is well over 80%.
So,
stop believing all that you read - and start living. Life is OK as
it is! Meet the high-times when they come, and enjoy all the fun and
excitement!
