are ships that can travel under water. And, they have been
around for a very long time.

first submarine ever was was the Glass Barrel. It was
built in Ancient Egypt about 2.300 years ago.
The
H.L. Huntley was used in the American Civil War. It was the
first sub to sink an enemy ship.
But,
submarines are not only used in war. In 1985, the unmanned
vessel Argo found the Titanic!
