sculptor
who has become well
known
throughout the world with his famous human figures.
His
best known
works include The Angel of
the North, a giant
sculpture
in the North of England, Another Place, an installation where 100
figures stare
out to sea on Crosby Beach
near Liverpool, and Horizon Field, an installation where 100
life-size statues stand in a line
across the Austrian Mountains
in Vorarlberg.
Sir
Antony's works are very realistic and very interesting. Some people
are shocked when they see them.

Antony has won many prizes for his work. He was born
on the 30th of August, 1950.
