Innsbruck is
a wonderful city in Tirol. It sits in the middle of the Austrian
Alps and is a beautiful place to visit. And, Innsbruck has something
unique. It has a world famous landmark, the Golden
Roof.
The Golden
Roof was built in the 15th century to shelter
Emperor Maximillian whilst he sat on his balcony. And, it is
called the Golden Roof because of its 2,657 gold plated
copper tiles
which shine in the sun.
Innsbruck is
a beautiful city. Why not visit it yourself.
