There are 2 little children who live on a house boat in Paris. They are Pierre and Monique. They are brother and sister. Their parents have a very small restaurant. And, Pierre and Monique always have very good meals. But, Sundays are special. They always eat frog legs and white bread for lunch.

But, Pierre and Monique have a very big secret. Their best friend is Gilbert and he is a crocodile. And, Gilbert lives under their boat in the river. Gilbert is happy. The River Seine is full of juicy fresh fish.
