Heavenly
Roses - Margit Felder
This week is
a very special week for Margit Felder. She will be 90 years old.
But, Margit Felder will not only be toasting her birthday, she will
be celebrating her new book as well. A book of
wonderful verse which she brought out last week.
In “Coming
Home”, Margit Felder magnificently tells of
impressions, feelings and memories in
words that speak to us all. And, one of her included works, The
School of Life, is especially good, for this poem can be applied to
us all. In The School of Life, Margit Felder not only tells us to
make the most of our time, but reminds us of other truths, too. We
are what we are because of ourselves, and none of us are perfect!
And, to finish this marvellous work, Margit Felder
tells us to honour our women. For, it is they who
weave Heavenly Roses into our lives!
And, Margit
Felder's next book is on its way, too. And, with 90 years to her
credit, Margit Felder is not short of material. Her life was
extremes and adventures. She was born in Bielsko Biala in Poland in
1927, and, after having to flee from the Russians,
settled in Vienna at the end of the Second World War
and has been turning the downs into ups ever since.
Congratulations,
Margit Felder! You are an example
of what one can achieve.
Your life was your work, and your work was your life!
